Grand Opening of Our Flagship Preschool in Jakarta
Our newest brand, LILLIPODS®, officially opens its doors at our flagship preschool in Jakarta. The grand opening ceremony was held on August 19th, attended by esteemed dignitaries such as Charge d’affaires Teemu Laakkonen, Development Attaché Minh Lam, Communication & Event Coordinator Fildzah Arifin, CEO of HEI Schools HQ, Inkeri Aimonen, and Co-founder of LILLIPODS, Teddy Koentjoro.

The Lillipods BSD Icon preschool has officially opened its doors since the beginning of August 2025. It previously conducted a few trial classes in May 2025. For more information about the preschool, please visit this link.
LILLIPODS® expands in Singapore
After the success of Lillipods BSD Icon in Jakarta, our Lillipods concept is expanding significantly in Singapore. Two centers are set to open in September 2025, and plans are underway for a third unit and beyond. This is exciting news for anyone who believes in Finnish education, as Singapore has its own reputation in education and now seeks to incorporate and learn from Finland as well.

Grand opening at HEI Schools Mauritius, marking the first HEI Schools® branded preschool in southern Africa
LILLIPODS® not only achieved success, but the HEI Schools® brand has also received positive news from Mauritius. On August 29, the team at HEI Schools Mauritius hosted an opening ceremony to kickstart their journey with 50 children enrolled for the first academic year. This is a remarkable achievement, considering the project to bring HEI Schools to the Mauritian community has taken 18 months of dedicated efforts from the local team and leaders, notably the renowned change-maker, Rebecca Espitalier-Noël.
